The Global Pound Conference

The Johannesburg GPC is part of an international series of events taking place in approximately 40 cities and 31 countries. The series facilitates the development of 21st-century commercial dispute resolution tools, at domestic, regional and international levels. The one-day programme in Johannesburg involved all participants using a unique interactive technology platform that includes multiple choice and open text questions to generate comparable and actionable global data. Stephanie McDonald and Lloyd Chater attended the NEC Users’ Group Annual Seminar 2017 in London on 22 June 2017, discussing the new NEC4 suite at the seminar. Social Media in the Workplace

Bowmans is pleased presented a two-day course on Social Media in the Workplace, in conjunction with the University of Cape Town’s Faculty of Law.

The course aims to educate participants on the risks of social media in the workplace. A general understanding of the essential legal principles pertaining to social media and how its use may impact employment relationships and the workplace will be provided.

The course is presented by Rosalind Davey, partner and  Lenja Dahms-Jansen, senior associate, in Bowmans Dispute Resolution Practice.

The course is charged at R5 000.00 per delegate. The fee includes parking, teas, lunches and course materials.
