Bowmans hosted its workshop titled ‘FATF Grey List: Impact and what’s next for Mauritius?’ at the Hennessy Park Hotel, Ebene on Friday, 29th October 2021. The workshop provided a platform for the regulators of the financial services, banking and non-banking sectors to give their insights on the topic.

Speakers included representatives from the Bank of Mauritius, the Financial Services Commission, and Mauritius Finance. We also had addresses from Fazil Hossenkhan, managing partner of Bowmans, Mauritius, and Shianee Calcutteea, partner in Bowmans’ Corporate Practice. Matthew Purchase, partner in Bowmans’ Corporate Investigations Department shared his experience and learnings from the AML investigations that he has been involved in.

We had 80 attendees from various sectors of the industry, namely banks, management companies and clients.
