Angela Mbuthia is an associate in our Nairobi office and a member of the Mergers & Acquisition and Projects department.
Angela specialises in real estate, construction, conveyancing and conservancy law as well as general mergers and acquisitions and banking work. She has acted for a number of leading financial institutions in the Kenyan banking sector on various matters, including takeovers of banking facilities.
She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
Angela has a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Master of Law (LL.M) degree from the University of Leeds and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
Angela has experience in Conveyancing and Real Estate matters and has had involvement in a variety of private commercial transactions including the sale and purchase of land, the sale and purchase of commercial premises, company disposals and acquisitions through the sale of shares and assets amongst other transactions.
Angela also has experience in Banking and Finance transactions and has acted for a number of leading financial institutions in the Kenyan banking sector on various matters, including takeovers of banking facilities.
On the Construction front, Angela is currently assisting in advising on an array of construction contracts, including turnkey/EPC contracts as well as construction contracts for the provision of professional services.
