Sduduzo Mhlongo is an Associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Johannesburg office Tax Practice.
Sduduzo specialises in corporate tax advisory, Value-Added Tax and tax dispute. He also provides advice on mining tax, tax-efficient transaction structuring, broad-based black economic transactions. From a tax dispute resolution perspective, Sduduzo assists companies in responding to SARS audits, investigations, preparing and lodging objections and appeals, alternative tax dispute resolution and tax court matters.
Prior to joining Bowmans, Sduduzo spent years in one the leading law firms in South Africa and two of the “Big Four” audit firms where he focused the financial services and complex tax issues.
Sduduzo has authored articles for and has been quoted by numerous tax-related issues in publications including Taxtalk and Lexology.
He has an LLB degree and Mining Tax Certificate which were both obtained from University of Witwatersrand. Sduduzo is currently studying towards a Master of Commerce (Accounting, Taxation) at the University of Witwatersrand.
Sduduzo is also a registered tax practitioner.
