BOWMANS BOLSTERS ITS BANKING AND FINANCE TEAM WITH THE APPOINTMENT OF MARK KYLE
Leading African law firm, Bowmans, has appointed Mark Kyle as a partner in its Banking and Finance Department further strengthening its offering in this specialist area of law.

Chairman and Senior Partner Robert Legh says Kyle’s skills set and experience with complex mandates will add further depth to the firm’s banking and finance offering.
Kyle, whose focus is on capital raising and debt restructuring, has 19 years’ experience as a banking and finance lawyer. His expertise is recognised by top international legal directories including Chambers Global, IFLR and Legal500.
Kyle has worked on a number of large and complex transactions across the African continent, and recently acted for certain groups of creditors on the AfriSam, Peermont and Land Bank debt restructuring transactions.
He combines 14 years’ experience in legal practice at major law firms, including Linklaters in London, with five years’ commercial experience gained in the Investment Banking Division of Standard Bank, first as senior legal counsel and later as vice-president legal.
Kyle will be based in Bowmans’ Durban office and thus be directly available to KwaZulu-Natal clients. He will work between Durban and Johannesburg.
